Top 5 Celebrity Fragrances This Year

It seems that if you’ve done anything that has made you famous – whether good or bad – you’re coming out with your own fragrance these days. But this list helps wade through a sea of scents to the ones that continue to rise to the top.
Unforgivable by Sean Combs

For a guy that everyone hates and thinks he has no talent, it seems everyone wants to smell like him. It’s the top selling celebrity perfume this year. It has notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, juniper, and sandalwood. It can be a rather recognizable scent, so if you don’t want people to connect you with Sean Combs (or whatever his name is now – P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, whatever), then don’t wear it. But it is a rather sexy smell on a man, I must agree.

White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor

This classic scent is still going strong! It’s also listed in the top 10 fragrances ever since 1991 and earns millions of dollars every year! It’s got notes of Amazon lily, Turkish rose, oakmoss, and sandalwood. It’s a sensual scent, very recognizable but recognizable in a good way. I used to think only older women wore this scent, mostly because I envision Elizabeth Taylor as an old woman now, but recently some of my young friends have been wearing it and it smells really nice.

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker

It was released in the year 2005, and it has notes of lavender, orchid, amber, apple martini, and musk. It’s a very feminine scent, and just about any woman can wear it. It’s not overwhelming, but it has a very unique and pleasant smell.

Curious by Britney Spears

Even though her scent “Fantasy” is receiving bad reviews, Curious is going strong. With notes of Louisiana magnolia, golden Anjou pear, lotus flower, jasmine, and sandalwood, it pulls in millions each year. It’s worth a spritz, but I feel it can be a little strong for my taste.

Glow By Jennifer Lopez

It came out in the year 2002 and it’s still going strong. It’s got notes of orange blossom, soft musk, pink grapefruit, and vanilla, but it’s not totally overwhelming. It’s probably my favorite one on the list, as it is really refreshing.
